In the Alkula homestead, next to the old tobacco fields, August Alexander Levon established Finland's first steam mill in 1849. Levon's passion for gardening is still visible in Alkula's nature.

Tickets: 10 €/person, free of charge for children under 12 years.
Tickets shall be bought online at least 12 h in advance. And the booking confirmation serves as ticket.

Starting point: Alkula farm, Gripinpolku 1, Vaasa

The walk is about 1 km, and some parts are more challenging to walk.
