Does Strömsö really exist?
Yes, it does! The idyllic villa that serves as the set of the TV show, is located in Vaasa and was built in 1852. Guided tours of the villa are available, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays 28.6.-2.8.2025.
Must be booked 12 hours beforehand.
Guided walk on Kappelinmäki cemetery
Kappelinmäki cemetery dates to 1782. It is one of Finland´s oldest graveyards still in active use. Much of Vaasa´s ancient history lies buried in its soil.
